Delta doesn't work well on multi role. They don't have as high a weight capacity.

Trapezoidal limits the Maneuverability however. Plus this Fighter has no wing mounted Pylons so that shouldn't be an issue.

I would go with what type of wings the F-22 uses. Since we are going for a stealth fighter, I am assuming those wings would work the best

Multi roles need wing mounted pylons. That defeats the entire purpose of versatility.

Fuselage mounted Pylons and several Internal Pylons make up for this.

Plus you can't mount Wing Pylons on a Trapezoidal wing.

Look at the F-22, without Delta wings you don't get Wing Mounted Pylons.

And I can adjust my Statblock to gives us those, but it will affect our stealth capabilities.

Increased speed, but loss of Maneuverability and limited number of Wing Pylons.

Delta is our best bet. Nothing else can meet our requirements.

No. Delta wings simply don't do. Rear facing swept wings is what we need.

No because for a Multi-Role we need a balance of speed and maneuverability. Backwards-Swept Wings will give us more speed, but cause us to lose our versatility and maneuverability. Variable Swept wings would work but they would need to be well reinforced, and we would still be limited on our number of wing-mounted pylons.

Release more powerful engines to compensate. Dino, stealth destroys turning anyway.

All that will do is increase Thrust and as such Speed. Fiber-mat is something cheap that is built into the Aircraft's Frame and so doesn't affect it's Maneuverability.

Delta Wings are our best bet, the next best is Variable Sweep wings.

We are talking cropped delta similar to the F-16, F-5, F-18, and such. Not a full Delta wing.

If I may but into this very entertaining debate, Tarsas why don't you just do delta for the version we release and then when it is released go and make your own variant
